Warehouse Manager

Our client is a leading Wind Turbine Manufacturer looking for a Warehouse Manager to manage their warehouse in the Netherlands for a large offshore wind farm. This is a full time permanent position paying a competitive salary.

Warehouse Manager duties and responsibilities:
* Managing the warehouse supporting an efficient and effective workflow on site for service of the wind farm
* Identifying and taking care of improvement areas
* Optimizing the warehouse and delivery process in close cooperation with the other key members of the team
* Purchasing: coordinating, checking and advising about the site needs
* Defining the technical scope (supplier contact) of needs/demands and preparing a proposal to be approved by management and then informing Site Support to order
* On time PPE inspection / tool calibration / registration
* Optimize/improve site processes in general but specifically warehouse
* Stock/store management: goods receival (physical check, MIGO), SAP management (dispatching, picking, materials mgmt), define minimal stock levels based on availability and supply timeframe
* Keeping track & trace for goods which are in the shipping process
* Local fleet management; Weekly check (e.g. APK, service, replacement, etc)
* Create stock positions in SAP

Warehouse Manager desired experience:
* Technical understanding of warehouse operations within offshore wind
* Experience and knowledge of working with operations management systems (SAP)
* Able to work independently
* Proactive / Hands on
* Improvement/optimization driven
* Foreseeing operational bottlenecks
