We are delighted to be working with an exceptional global advisory in their search for a Business Developer to be based in Northern Germany (home based included). The business operates internationally, we are recruiting into their renewable energy department to support the development and asset management of infrastructure for electricity. The business helps mitigate risk associated with the wind installation process, helping to identify critical elements of wind farm projects.
Responsible for business development activities, meeting prospects and influencing their buying decision with regards to wind testing services. This role will focus on Germany but will include geographies across Europe, working closely with the wider business development and engineering teams.
You will need to be an exceptional relationship builder, a professional expert with outstanding rapport building expertise. You will develop marketing documents, including but not limited to; presentations, case studies, social selling, marketing campaigns etc. This role will have a heavy focus on consultative selling, you must provide valued propositions and be comfortable handling customer objections/queries, pricing/quotations and closing complex/long-term sales processes by acquiring client commitment.
- Degree qualified
- At least 6 years experience in the renewables industry, ideally in testing services
- An expert in the wind testing space
- A natural relationship builder
- Comfort presenting to C-suite stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English
- Happy to travel domestically and internationally
